Saori Hayami is a well-known voice actress with a gentle and soothing voice. I’m a big fan of her work.
She discovered her passion for voice acting in the 4th grade, and ever since, she aspired to become a voice actress. She took classes to hone her skills and eventually joined the Junior Voice Class at Nihon Narration Engi Kenkyuujo in junior high school.
Her career took off when she passed an audition for I’m Enterprise in 2006, during her sophomore year at the training school. She debuted her voice acting in a drama CD called “India Summer.”
In 2007, she made her anime debut and landed her first leading role as Momoka Kawakabe in “Touka Gettan.” Since then, she has actively voiced various characters in anime and other voice-acting projects.
Saori Hayami has played many vital roles in anime, and here are some of them:
1. Miyuki Shiba (The Irregular Magic High School)
Shiba Miyuki is the main character in “The Irregular in Magic High School” series. She’s the main character’s sibling, Shiba Tatsuya, and like her older brother, she’s a student at First High School, a magic school.
Miyuki is described as a beautiful girl who catches the eye of anyone who sees her. Although she initially had a strong interest in her calm and composed brother.
2. Yukino Yukinoshita (Oregairu)
Yukino Yukinoshita is the main character in “Oregairu: My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU!” She’s a student at Sobu High School in Class 2J and founded the Service Club, which initially only had her as a member until Hachiman Hikigaya joined.
Yukino is intelligent and well-liked by her peers. When Hachiman, who usually doesn’t pay much attention to people in his class, meets Yukino at the Service Club, it starts a love triangle story that adds excitement to the series.
3. Shinoa Hiiragi (Owari no Seraph)
Shinoa Hiiragi is a character in the anime show “Owari no Seraph.” She comes from the important and wealthy Hiiragi Family and is the younger sister of Mahiru Hiiragi.
Shinoa is assigned to supervise Yuichiro Hyakuya, who is on suspension, and she works alongside Guren Ichinose. She holds the rank of sergeant in the Japanese Imperial Demon Army and is the leader of the Shinoa Squad within the Moon Demon Company.
4. Shouko Nishimiya (Koe no Katachi)
Shoko Nishimiya is the main character in the series “Koe no Katachi” or “A Silent Voice.” Despite having a significant role, Saori Hayami, who voices her, actually has very few lines in this anime movie produced by Kyoto Animation.
Shoko has a severe hearing impairment, so she can be considered clinically deaf. This condition makes it challenging for her to speak.
5. Yumeko Jabami (Kakegurui)
Saori Hayami’s next role is Yumeko Jabami, the main character in “Kakegurui.”
Yumeko is a new student at Hyakkaou Private Academy and shares classes with Ryota Suzui and Mary Saotome.
Yumeko is portrayed as an optimistic and charismatic character who easily captures the attention of those around her. She made a strong impression on her first day of school and continued to do so on most days.
When she catches an opponent cheating in a game, Yumeko transforms dramatically. Her ordinarily calm demeanor changes and her eyes turn red as she confronts and intimidates her opponent.
6. Fubuki (One Punch Man)
Fubuki, also known as Jigoku no Fubuki or Blizzard of Hell, is a B-Class Rank 1 professional hero in the Hero Association.
She possesses psychic powers and is the younger sister of Tatsumaki, another powerful hero. Fubuki is the leader of the Blizzard Group, which is a faction of B-Class heroes. She is currently attempting to recruit the bald hero Saitama into her group.
Fubuki has also declared herself as a member of the Saitama Group in the world of One Punch Man.
7. Shinobu Kochou (Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba)
Shinobu Kocho is a significant character in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. She holds the rank of Insect Hashira within the Demon Slayer Corps.
Shinobu has a younger sister named Kanae Kocho and a foster sister named Kanao Tsuyuri. Tragically, a demon killed their parents, which led Shinobu and her sister to join the Demon Slayer Corps. They did this to prevent others from experiencing the same terrible fate as their family.
8. Yamato (One Piece)
Yamato is the daughter of the powerful pirate Kaidou. She was groomed from a young age to inherit Kaidou’s legacy, but instead, she developed a strong admiration for the samurai Kozuki Oden.
Yamato often clashed with her father, which led to her being imprisoned on Onigashima Island for a significant part of her life. During that time, she became friends with Portgas D. Ace when he visited Wano Country, although she couldn’t leave the island with him due to Seastone restraints.
After learning of Ace’s death, Yamato eagerly awaited the arrival of Monkey D. Luffy. She wanted to join him in his mission to overthrow Kaidou, and afterward, she hoped to set sail on the seas alongside Luffy and his crew.
9. Anju Emma (86)
Anju Emma is an important character in the mecha anime “86 -Eighty-Six-” created by A-1 Pictures.
She goes by the nickname “Snow Witch” and is a member of the Spellhead Squadron. During battles, her role is to provide fire and artillery support to her team.
10. Yor (Spy x Family)
Yor Briar, later known as Yor Forger, is one of the important characters in the anime series “SPY x FAMILY,” produced by WIT Studio and CloverWorks.
By day, Yor works as a clerk at Berlint City Hall, but secretly, she leads a double life as an assassin with the codename “Ibarahime” or “Thorn Princess.”
She enters into a marriage with Loid Forger to hide her true identity and becomes the adoptive mother of Anya.
