What is Wistoria: Wand and Sword about?

A long time ago, the world almost ended when attackers from space came down and wrecked everything. To stop them, five magic users worked together to make a big, invisible wall called the first “Vander Magic”. They put this wall on top of a huge tower named Mercedes Caulis. This wall was super important – it kept the bad guys out and saved the kingdom.

Now, there’s a school called Regarden Magic Academy. It teaches kids how to use magic, but it’s really looking for particular students who might become Vander Mages one day. These Vander Mages are the ones who protect the kingdom, just like those five wizards did way back when.

One of the students at this school is Will Serfort. He wants to be a strong magic user so he can go to Mercedes Caulis and see his old friend Elfaria again. Elfaria’s pretty amazing – she became a Vander Mage when she was young, making Will want to work even harder.

But Will has a big problem: he’s not good at magic. He tries really hard and does excellent on his tests about magic facts, and he even fights monsters in the school’s underground caves to get extra points. But he’s got a secret – he might not be good at magic, but he’s fantastic with a sword. He’s so good that he can beat tough monsters even the best magic users have trouble with.

As Will tries to make his dream come true, he has many problems. He makes some friends and some enemies, too. But as time passes, people start to see how special Will’s sword skills are. It turns out that being good with a sword can be just as powerful as magic, maybe even more so. Will shows everyone that true strength comes from your heart and courage, not just from waving a magic wand.
