The preview for episode 5 of Black Butler: Public School Arc and the episode synopsis are now available on the website. In this episode, Ciel and Sebastian plan to lure Derrick Arden and others out of the dormitory. Their strategy involves setting fire to the Violet Wolf, also known as the Purple House.
Despite their efforts, Derrick does not appear, leaving Ciel feeling lost. However, he receives some encouraging news that the headmaster will attend the cricket tournament. Each year, the headmaster invites one player who demonstrates the most gentlemanly behavior to a midnight tea party.

Black Butler is returning for its fourth season, titled The Public School Arc, which adapts Yana Toboso’s manga of the same name that began serialization in 2006. While A-1 Pictures produced the first three seasons, this new season is being animated by the studio Cloverworks.

The opening theme, “The Parade of Battlers,” is performed by Otaha, while the ending is by the band SID.
The Public School Arc season premiered on April 13, 2024, and is being simulcast on Crunchyroll. According to their plot description, the season seems to be in a school/academy environment.
With the return of the dark supernatural fantasy series after years since the last season, longtime Black Butler fans are surely excited to see Ciel, Sebastian, and the other characters’ latest twisted adventures animated. The new staff and studio also present an opportunity for a fresh take on the franchise.
Synopsis:
