Anime enthusiasts, especially fans of the hit series Bleach, were thrilled by the reveals at Jump Festa 2024. The iconic shonen anime unveiled the first trailer for the highly anticipated “Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War” Part 3, revealing the arc title as “The Conflict.”
While no definitive release date has been set, Bleach creator Tite Kubo confirmed the next installment in the Thousand-Year Blood War saga will arrive in 2024. This monumental finale arc from Kubo’s original manga has been brought to life by the veteran Studio Pierrot animation team.
The arc debuted in October 2022 as a 13-episode season, continuing last July with the second cours of episodes. Kubo’s grand finale will ultimately span four cours to properly adapt the sweeping events of the manga’s final act.
Bleach enjoyed an impressive 15-year run in Shonen Jump magazine from 2001 to 2016. The stylistic supernatural adventure was adapted into a 366-episode anime series by Studio Pierrot from 2004 to 2012. The new Thousand-Year Blood War arc aims to faithfully finish the story that captured the hearts of generations of fans.
