The wait is over. The first five episodes of the final season of *Cobra Kai* are now available on Netflix. Fans have been delighted to see that, with the premiere of this sixth season, the series has brought back one of its most likable characters.

This News Have Spoilers

So, get this – something wild happens in the new Cobra Kai episode! Johnny gets this mysterious text from a hidden number. The message asks him to meet up in the woods where he used to train his Cobra Kai students. At first, Johnny thinks it might be his old teacher Kreese, who broke out of jail last season and might be looking for payback.

But here’s the twist – it’s not Kreese at all! It turns out to be Raymond ‘Stingray’ Porter, one of Johnny’s former students. And man, does Stingray have a crazy idea! He shows up with new kids, trying to convince Johnny to start teaching Cobra Kai again and train a new bunch of karate champs.

Now, even though Johnny and Daniel aren’t seeing eye to eye about their Miyagi-Do dojo, Johnny still says no to Stingray’s offer.

It’s worth mentioning that Stingray isn’t exactly a good guy. Last season, he made a deal with Terry Silver to get Kreese thrown in jail so that he could join Cobra Kai. Talk about playing dirty!

After this quick appearance, we don’t see Stingray in the next four episodes. But don’t count him out yet! He might pop up again in the next bunch of episodes coming out on November 15th. Fun fact: that’s the same day as the big Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson fight.

If we don’t see him then, there’s still a chance Stingray might show up in the very last episodes of Cobra Kai. But we’ll have to wait until 2025 for those!

It’s pretty exciting stuff. Who knows what other surprises this final season has in store?
