10 Strongest Conqueror’s Haki Users in One Piece

Otakukan Team By Otakukan Team 9 Min Read

Haoshoku Haki, also known as “Conqueror’s Haki,” stands out as one of the rarest and most powerful abilities in the One Piece world. Unlike the other types of Haki, only a select few individuals possess this extraordinary power.

At its basic level, Haoshoku Haki enables the user to intimidate those with weaker spirits. With continued use, users can go further, imbuing themselves with Haoshoku Haki to inflict significantly greater damage on their enemies.

While Haoshoku Haki is indeed rare, it’s not unheard of in the New World, where many users showcase this incredible ability. However, only a few have truly mastered and wielded its full power.

The Pirate King, Gol D. Roger, uses Haoshoku Haki well. Unlike many other powerful pirates, he has no special Devil Fruit powers. Instead, he relies on his skill with Haki when he’s fighting.

In battles, Roger wields a powerful sword named Ace, one of the best swords (Saijō Wazamono). In a big fight against Whitebeard, Roger used his Haoshoku Haki to make Ace even more formidable, and he managed to defend against Whitebeard’s attacks easily.

Because Roger aims for even bigger things than Whitebeard, it’s likely that his Haoshoku Haki is even stronger.

2. Shirohige Has Haoshoku Haki, which can rival Gol D. Roger

Whitebeard used to be the toughest pirate, with powers that could cause massive destruction. Thanks to Oden’s flashback, he’s like a big rival to Gol D. Roger and the only one we know about who fought against him.

Whitebeard was good with all kinds of Haki, using them like a pro. In a showdown on some far-off island in the Grand Line, Whitebeard even used Haoshoku Haki to make his weapon, Murakumogiri, super powerful and give Roger a real run for his money in their fight.

3. Kaido Utilizes Haoshoku Haki for His Strongest Attack

Kaido Utilizes Haoshoku Haki for His Strongest Attack

In the anime  One Piece, the toughest pirate around is Kaido, also known as Yonko Kaido. He’s got this crazy power from eating the Mythical Zoan Uo Uo no Mi, Model: Seiryu, which makes him a serious threat in any battle. On top of that, Kaido is like a master of Conqueror Haki, and he’s good at it.

All his top moves, like Thunder Bagua or Ragnaraku, involve using this crazy power of his. Interestingly, Luffy picked up a trick or two about Haoshoku Haki just by watching Kaido do his thing.

Sengoku, nicknamed Buddha, used to be the big boss of the Marines, leading them as Fleet Admiral before things changed. Interestingly, he’s the only Marine we know of in the story with this special power called Conqueror’s Haki.

The tricky part is that Sengoku hasn’t shown us how he uses this power yet, so fans still wait to see it in action. But, it’s confirmed he’s got it, thanks to the Vivre Card. We’re just not sure how good he is with it.

5. Shanks Is an Excellent Haoshoku Haki User

Shanks is a big shot among the Yonko in the One Piece world and no surprise that he’s got some great Haki skills. Even without a Devil Fruit, he’s good with all three types of Haki. Fans got a taste of Shanks’ power when he visited the ship, Moby Dick. Just by holding back his Haki, he managed to mess up the ship pretty badly.

While we haven’t seen Shanks use the fancier version of Conqueror’s Haki, he’s certainly got that skill, too.

6. Big Mom Uses Haoshoku Haki To Destroy Page One

Big Mom, a Yonko like Shanks, is a heavyweight fighter with a bounty of 4,338,000,000 berries, just behind Yonko Kaido.

She’s got this potent Devil Fruit called Soru Soru no Mi, and on top of that, she’s a pro at all types of Haki. We even saw her using advanced Conqueror Haki, taking down Page One with just one powerful hit during the Onigashima incident.

7. Silvers Rayleigh Can Use Haoshoku Haki Very Well

We see Silvers Rayleigh during the Sabaody Archipelago, who used to be the right-hand man of the Roger Pirates. He’s a really strong pirate, and what’s cool is that even without a Devil Fruit, he’s a master of all types of Haki.

Rayleigh is so good at it that he even taught Monkey D. Luffy how to use it. While we haven’t seen him pull out the advanced version, there’s a good chance he knows it, too. I mean, he’s got some pretty amazing control over other parts of Conqueror’s Haki.

8. Kozuki Oden Can Use It to Advanced Levels

Kozuki Oden Can Use It to Advanced Levels

Oden is like one of the top-notch samurai in Wano Country, super strong from the get-go. As he went on adventures with Roger and Whitebeard, he just kept getting stronger. What’s cool is Oden can rock all types of Haki, but he’s especially good with Ryou. When he went all out, he managed to hurt Kaido badly and left a massive scar on him.

Here’s the mystery: we’re not sure if his move, Togen Totsuka, is a Conqueror Haki move or just a fancy Ryou technique. That part’s still up in the air.

9. Monkey D. Luffy Has Learned Everything About Haoshoku Haki

Monkey D. Luffy Has Learned Everything About Haoshoku Haki

Luffy was born with this special power called Conqueror Haki, and Oda (the creator) confirmed it many times in the story. In Wano Country, he took things up a notch by learning to surround himself with this crazy strong energy, making him way more powerful.

Now, Luffy’s got a grip on all the basic Conqueror Haki moves and is pretty good at it. The fancier stuff, though, is still a bit tricky for him, but no doubt, he will get even better at it in the future.

In a showdown with Kaido, Luffy pulled off something big. He managed to hurt Yonko and knocked him out with just a handful of punches. That’s some serious power right there.

10. Boa Hancock Has All Three Types of Haki

Boa Hancock Has All Three Types of Haki

Boa Hancock, the Queen of Amazon Lily, used to be a Shichibukai, a big deal in the pirate world. She’s a super strong pirate who led the Kuja Pirates when she was young, escaping from being a slave for the Tenryuubito.

After her first big journey, she got a bounty of 80 million berries and became one of the Warlords of the Sea. The Boa brothers spilled the beans about how good she is with Haki during the Amazon Lily arc.

Now, considering that Hancock’s sister is no slouch and can use some serious Haki, there’s a good chance Hancock can rock the advanced Conqueror Haki, too.
