In Don’t Move, a new thriller from Netflix, Kelsey Asbille plays a woman who experiences her body gradually succumbing to complete paralysis just as she’s racing against time—and against a menacing adversary. The suspenseful plot revolves around her desperate fight for survival.
Produced by Sam Raimi, known for Spider-Man and The Evil Dead, the film is directed by Brian Netto and Adam Schindler, the duo behind the horror series 50 States of Fright. The cast also features Finn Wittrock (American Horror Story), Moray Treadwell (Downton Abbey), and Daniel Francis (Bridgerton).
In the trailer, Asbille’s character is shown stumbling through a desolate forest, chased by a serial killer who taunts her while narrating the grim events to come. With only 20 minutes ticking on her smartwatch, she struggles to escape, even as paralysis slowly takes over. The forest backdrop, reminiscent of The Hunger Games, adds to the tension, with eerie whistling setting the tone. The scene intensifies when seated in a pickup truck, she is unable to alert anyone to her situation.
Don’t Move will premiere on Netflix on October 25, promising viewers a gripping, edge-of-your-seat experience.
