We all know that Fallout fans have been hungry for something new, especially with Fallout 5 still a long way off. Thankfully, a fresh dose of radioactive adventure has landed: Fallout: Miami is here to hold us over until the next big title drops.
After the legendary Elder Scrolls series, Fallout remains one of Bethesda’s most beloved franchises — and some fans would argue it’s even more iconic. With the surge in popularity sparked by Amazon’s live-action Fallout series (which is already renewed for season two), there’s been a noticeable spike in interest in older titles like Fallout 4, New Vegas, and Fallout 76.
But with Fallout 5 confirmed by Todd Howard (though not arriving anytime before The Elder Scrolls VI), fans are understandably getting a bit impatient. So, what’s the solution while we wait? Enter the vibrant and passionate modding community, which never fails to keep the wasteland alive.
Miami Misadventures
Developed by a talented team led by Mikka999, Miami Misadventures is a fan-made episodic mod for Fallout 4 that offers brand-new content — and it’s completely free! You can grab it via Nexus Mods for PC or even on Xbox through Bethesda’s Creation Club.
Here’s what you get with Miami Misadventures:
- New characters and quests
- Fresh weapons and items
- Unique locations in the Fallout 4 Commonwealth
- An expanding platform for additional standalone stories during Fallout: Miami’s development
The creators describe it as a hub for all mini-adventures and mods being crafted alongside the bigger Fallout: Miami project. Think of it as a sneak peek into what the full mod will bring — and yes, it’s already a lot of fun.
In the meantime, while there’s still no official release date for Fallout 5, you can jump back into the wasteland with Fallout 3, Fallout 4, and Fallout 76 — all available via Xbox Game Pass at no extra charge.
