Exciting news for Fire Force fans! A new trailer for Season 3 is set to debut on December 5, 2024, during Crunchyroll’s presentation at CCXP24 (Comic Con Experience) in São Paulo, Brazil. The event will run from December 5 to December 8.

  • Animation Studio: David Production returns to animate the series, continuing its stellar work from the first two seasons.
  • Release Schedule: The final season will air in two split cours:
    • First cour: Premieres in April 2025.
    • Second cour: Scheduled for January 2026.

Fire Force: A Look Back

The anime adaptation began in 2019, with the first season running for 24 episodes. The second season followed in 2020, also with 24 episodes. Season 3 was announced in May 2022, with the first teaser trailer and details revealed in July 2024.

The Fire Force manga, created by Atsushi Ohkubo (Soul Eater’s creator), was serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine from September 2015 to February 2022. Kodansha licensed the series for English audiences and describes its plot as a fiery battle against spontaneous human combustion, following Shinra and the fire soldiers of Special Fire Cathedral 8 as they unravel the mystery behind this deadly phenomenon.
