The episode mainly introduced a rude and angry Wizard Boy, determined to eliminate goblins. It’s no shock that he turned to the Goblin Slayer for help. However, for now, he’s teaming up with Priestess under her guidance, which might be a good move for both of them.
What Happened in Goblin Slayer Season 2 Episode 1
Goblin Slayer Season 2 Episode 1, “An Ordinary Spring Day,” begins with a flashback to Priestess’ first adventure, where she saw how terrible goblins could be. Then, it shifts to the present, where Goblin Slayer and his team prepare for a new mission.
Goblin Slayer is checking a spot when Guild Girl interrupts him with the latest goblin slaying report. The report shows fewer goblin attacks, but Goblin Slayer isn’t satisfied. Knowing they’re still a threat, he’s determined to wipe out all the goblins.

A new adventurer named Wizard Boy arrives at the guild. He’s confident and challenges Goblin Slayer to a fight, but Goblin Slayer declines. Wizard Boy is upset and wants to prove himself.
Later, Goblin Slayer’s team gets a mission to investigate a goblin attack in a nearby village. They head out, and Wizard Boy follows them.
Wizard Boy gets lost in the forest and runs into some goblins. He quickly realizes he’s in trouble. When things seem bleak, Goblin Slayer shows up and saves him. After the fight, Goblin Slayer talks to Wizard Boy about how dangerous goblins can be. He advises him never to underestimate them and always to be prepared for battle.
The episode ends with Goblin Slayer and his team arriving at the village, ready to investigate the goblin attack and protect the villagers.
Overall, Goblin Slayer Season 2 Episode 1 is an excellent start to the new season. It introduces a new character and sets up the central conflict for the season. The animation is well done, and there are some exciting action scenes.

Goblin Slayer season 2 episode 2 is called “The Red-Headed Wizard Boy.” This title suggests that the upcoming episode will focus on Wizard Boy and explore into his reasons for wanting to slay goblins. Despite his overconfident attitude, Goblin Slayer sees some potential in him. However, because he’s inexperienced, Goblin Slayer wouldn’t recommend him to go alone to the goblin’s hideout.
