Deadpool is getting a brand-new Marvel series, and it looks like a key scene from Deadpool & Wolverine in the MCU is serving as its biggest inspiration.

In case you missed it, Deadpool recently “died”—but, in true comic book fashion, his demise lasted all of 10 seconds. During his brief absence, his daughter, Ellie Camacho, stepped into his shoes, donning her own Deadpool costume and taking over the family business.

Now that Wade is back, the father-daughter duo is set to face a new challenge—a multiverse full of Deadpools.

Meet the Pooluminati: Deadpool’s Multiversal Anti-Hero Team

As revealed in a recent Marvel press release, Deadpool will lead a team of anti-heroes in a new comic series titled “Pooluminati”—which promises to feature every Deadpool variant imaginable.

“After Earth got caught in the crossfire of the Kree/Skrull War, Iron Man assembled the Illuminati… Now, it’s Wade Wilson’s turn to join the ranks of this secret society… kind of.”

“Enter the Pooluminati, the most elite Deadpools from across the Multiverse. Deadpool and his daughter Ellie embark on an interdimensional adventure to prove they’re worthy of joining the prestigious ranks of the Pooluminati. But what dark secrets will they unearth in the process?”

And if that wasn’t wild enough, Marvel is teasing the appearance of a giant Deadpool mech in the first issue—because why not?

MCU Boss Addresses the Future of The Avengers

If you can’t wait, Marvel has already posted a preview of the first issue on their website, giving fans an early look at the Super Sentai-inspired Deadpool mech in action.

It definitely seems like someone at Marvel saw that massive Deadpool battle in Deadpool & Wolverine and thought, “Yep, that needs to be a comic series.”

You can judge for yourself when Pooluminati #1 hits shelves on March 26.
