The preview trailer for the upcoming My Hero Academia Season 7 Episode 2 was revealed on Thursday, May 9th, 2024. This new episode is set to air on Saturday, May 11th, 2024, on Crunchyroll with English subtitles.
The episode will continue the intense fight between the new character Star and the villain Shigaraki, kicking off the Star and Stripe Arc adapted from chapters 329-334 of the manga. Fans are eager to see if Star, voiced by Romi Park in her series debut, can defeat the destructive Shigaraki.
Season 7 has director Naomi Nakayama taking over from previous seasons and returning staff like composer Yuki Hayashi and writer Yosuke Kuroda. A new opening theme by TK from Ling Tosite Sigure and an ending by Omoinotake was also revealed.
Aside from the TV season, a new My Hero Academia movie titled “You’re Next” is scheduled for August 2nd, 2024, with Tensai Okamura directing and the main cast reprising their roles, including Kenta Miyake voicing the villain Dark Might.
Overall, My Hero Academia fans have a lot of new anime content to look forward to in this busy year for the popular series. The premiere last week seems to have kicked things off firmly.
