While Red Dead Redemption 2 may no longer be getting major updates, that doesn’t mean Rockstar has turned its back on the game — especially its online multiplayer mode. April is shaping up to be a rewarding month for Red Dead Online players.
Despite all eyes being on Grand Theft Auto VI ahead of its highly anticipated release later this year, Rockstar still has a team dedicated to keeping Red Dead Online alive and active — and this month, they’re rolling out the Trader Bonuses event.
Triple Payouts & Stylish Rewards
From now through April, players who take on Trader Sales will receive 3x RDO$, XP, and Role XP, making it a great time to cash in your pelts and products. If you complete at least five sales, you’ll also be rewarded for a free pair of boots.
But let’s be honest — it’s not just about the money. The real prize? Cosmetics.
Throughout April, Rockstar is offering exclusive, limited-time clothing items. Here’s what’s currently available:
- From April 15 to 21, complete all Trader Daily Challenges on a single day to unlock:
- Black Charro Jacket (for male characters)
- Black Clymene Coat (for female characters)
Bonus Items Just for Logging In
If you just log into Red Dead Online this month, you’ll be gifted a stylish pair of White Woodland Gloves. On top of that:
- Visit Gus’ Store to claim the “Good to See Ya” emote
- Cook up Cripps’ Daily Stew to earn a Civil War Battlefield Treasure Map (available until April 28)
