After playing Julia Carpenter, the second Spider-Woman, in Madame Web, Sydney Sweeney might go to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Kevin Feige’s studio wants the Euphoria actress to star in a new Disney+ series centered on one of Marvel’s historical heroines.
Recently, rumors have emerged that Marvel is planning a series about one of its lesser-known but oldest characters, Louise Grant, also known as Blonde Phantom. Scarlett Johansson was considered for this role before becoming Black Widow in the MCU.
Interestingly, Johansson, who portrayed Black Widow, would produce this spy-themed series set in the 1950s. Moreover, there were speculations that Taylor Swift, currently on her The Eras Tour in Europe, might portray this 1940s heroine. She could even make a cameo appearance in Deadpool and Wolverine, set to release on July 25, 2024.
However, according to MyShineToShineHello on X, Marvel is also considering Sydney Sweeney for the role of Blonde Phantom. As of now, there has been no official confirmation from Marvel or Disney+.

Blonde Phantom, whose real name is Louise Grant, first appeared in All Select Comics #11. Created during the Golden Age of Marvel Comics by Stan Lee and Syd Shores in 1946, she began her career as the secretary of private investigator Mark Mason.
Grant secretly takes on the identity of Blonde Phantom to assist her boss in fighting crime. Although she lacks superhuman abilities like Captain America, she is a skilled hand-to-hand combatant and a proficient investigator, always armed and ready for action.
Louise frequently used her investigative talents to solve crimes and save Mason’s life, who remained unaware of her alter ego. The character returned in The Sensational She-Hulk series in the late 1980s, revealing she had married Mark. As Jennifer Walters’ legal secretary, she often reminisced about her days as Blonde Phantom.
