The second season of Daisuke Aizawa’s anime “The Eminence in Shadow” is coming out in Fall 2023, and fans are super excited. It will continue the story of Cid Kagenou, also known as Shadow and his Shadow Garden.
The new season will follow the third volume of the original light novel series so that fans can expect more excitement.
The sequel is being made by Studio Nexus, with Kazuya Nakanishi directing, Kanich Katou writing the scripts, and Makoto Iino designing the characters. Kenichiro Suehiro will be in charge of the music. It’s going to be a great continuation of the series.

The Eminence in Shadow season 2 Release Dates All Episodes
Fans who loved the first season of “The Eminence in Shadow” expected a similar release format for the sequel, which had 20 episodes split into two parts.
But the sequel, as revealed during the Kage-Jitsu Fest livestream event, will have only 12 episodes. These episodes will appear every Wednesday from October 4 to December 20, 2023.
The second season of “The Eminence in Shadow” will premiere in Japan on October 4, 2023, at 10:30 pm JST on various TV channels. Here’s the full schedule for season 2:
