The third season of “The Irregular at Magic High School” revealed its main trailer and a new key visual on January 4, 2024, and it’s set to be released in April 2024. The announcement included details about the anime’s opening song and broadcast information.

This anime is adapted from a fantasy light novel series of the same name written by Tsutomu Sato and illustrated by Kana Ishida. Following the considerable success of the second season in 2020, fans are eagerly anticipating the upcoming season. It’s worth noting that the first season originally aired in 2014.

On Thursday, January 4, 2024, the official team behind The Irregular at Magic High School Season 3 unveiled a new promotional video and key visual for the series’ 10th-anniversary celebration.

The announcement included information that The Irregular at Magic High School Season 3 will be broadcast on Tokyo MX and its affiliated channels starting in April 2024. Although the exact release date is yet to be disclosed, fans can anticipate it being revealed soon.

The main promotional video features familiar characters like Tatsuya Shiba and Miyuki Shiba. Additionally, the short clip introduces other characters who are expected to have a significant role in the upcoming anime season.

The 2-minute-long trailer for The Irregular at Magic High School Season 3 features thrilling action scenes and provides a glimpse into the plotline. The anime is set to premiere in April 2024 and will consist of three parts. It will adapt three significant arcs from the light novel: The Double Seven Arc, The Steeplechase Arc, and The Ancient City Insurrection Arc.

The new cast members for The Irregular at Magic High School Season 3 have been revealed. Kikonusuke Toya, known as Denji from Chainsaw Man, will voice Minoru Kudou. Tatsumaru Tachibana will voice Takuma, and Houchou Ohtsuka joins as Retsu Kudou.

Several returning cast members have also been announced. Yumi Uchiyama will return as Erika Chiba, Takuma Terashima as Leonhart, Atsushi Tamaru as Mikihiko, and Satomi Satou as Mizuki. Additional cast members include:

The Irregular at Magic High School is based on Tsutomu Satou’s light novel series of the same name, which began in 2008 and concluded with its 32nd volume in September 2020. The series has succeeded, with two sequels released in October 2020 and January 2021.

Yen Press has published the English versions of The Irregular at Magic High School and The Honor Student at Magic High School for those who enjoy reading the original light novels or spinoff manga.

The anime franchise has seen previous success with a TV anime that premiered in April 2014 and ran for 26 episodes. Later, a second season titled The Irregular at Magic High School: Visitor Arc aired for 13 episodes starting on October 3. The Irregular at Magic High School also received a film titled The Girl Who Summons the Stars, released in Japan in June 2017.
