Who Is the Protagonist of To LOVE-Ru?
There is a lot of great anime, but To LOVE-Ru is one of the best. The question is, though, who is the protagonist of the series? Is it Rito Yuuki, the hapless high school student who constantly gets caught in compromising situations with the women around him? Or is it Lala Satalin Deviluke, the alien princess who comes to Earth for a husband and falls for Rito?
It’s tough to say. On the one hand, Rito is the one whose perspective we see most of the time, and he’s the main character in screen time. On the other hand, Lala is the one who drives the plot forward, and she’s arguably more important to the overall story.
