Netflix has given fans a special look at what’s happening behind the scenes of “Wednesday” season 2. They showed this during an event called Geeked Week. In the video, we can see new parts of the show that no one has seen before.

The video brings back some familiar faces. We’ll see Jenna Ortega playing Wednesday Addams again. Catherine Zeta-Jones will also return as Morticia Addams, Wednesday’s mother.

“Wednesday” is a show based on the famous Addams Family. Fans will have to wait a while to see the new season, though. Netflix plans to put it on its service in 2025.

Preview of the new season on Wednesday

A new teaser for Wednesday has been released, offering a behind-the-scenes glimpse of Tim Burton, the series’ director, on set. The teaser features scenes of Jenna Ortega as Wednesday Addams and appearances from other characters, including Enid Sinclair, played by Emma Myers, and Gomez Addams, portrayed by Luis Guzmán.

Catherine Zeta-Jones, who plays Morticia Addams, also makes a brief appearance. Toward the end of the teaser, Ortega, in her character’s signature deadpan style, quips, “If we showed more, your eyes would bleed, and I’m not that generous.”

The Wednesday series, created by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, follows the titular character as she navigates her psychic abilities while attending Nevermore Academy. The first season revolved around a string of murders tied to the history of her parents, Morticia and Gomez. Fans were also treated to a cameo by Christina Ricci, who famously portrayed Wednesday in the 1990s films.

As for the upcoming second season, cast members have teased that it will dive deeper into darker and more twisted themes. Zeta-Jones hinted that the new season would be “bigger and more twisted,” while Ortega shared that the focus will be more on horror, with episodes that feel like mini-movies.

Although Netflix has not yet announced an official release date, excitement is building, with the first season being one of the streaming giant’s biggest hits. Fans are eagerly awaiting what’s next for Wednesday Addams.
