Whisper Me a Love Song Anime Delayed, New Director and First Trailer Released

The Whisper Me a Love Song anime, initially scheduled for January 2024, has been delayed to April 2024. There has also been a change in the director, with Akira Mano taking over from Xin Ya Cai due to health reasons. The first Whisper Me a Love Song trailer has been released, introducing the main cast:

The trailer follows the release of the first key visual in August. Hana Shimano voices the main characters as Himari Kino and Asami Seto as Yori Asanagi.

Other cast members include Mikako Komatsu as Aki Mizuguchi, Konomi Kohara as Mari Tsuitsui, Ai Kakuma as Kaori Tachibana, and Yuna Nemoto as Shiho Izumi. Kana Sasakura provides Yori Asanagi’s vocals, and Sui Mizukami is the vocal artist for Shiho Izumi.

Kodansha Comics holds the license for the Whisper Me a Love Song manga from the Japanese publisher Ichijinsha. The manga Sasayaku You ni Koi o Utau has eight volumes, with Eku Takeshima as the writer and illustrator. The first volume is described as follows:

Bubbly, energetic first-year high school student Himari falls head over heels for her senpai Yori after hearing her band perform on the first day of school.
