Despite mastering the Rasengan quickly, Kakashi rarely uses it in Naruto Shippuden. However, why does Kakashi not use the Rasengan anymore?
Why Does Kakashi Never Use Rasengan?
The technique created by Minato Namikaze is quite complete and dynamic and is considered one of the most powerful in the ninja world. However, Minato passed away before completing it and adding a chakra nature to the Rasengan.
Kakashi tried to do it himself and ended up creating Chidori. The two techniques have significant differences, and Chidori is much more unique than it seems. In addition, he needs the Sharingan to function perfectly, as precision is required to execute it.
As such, Kakashi’s main reason for preferring Chidori is that it is more confined to the success rate of his technique.
Despite the incredible power of the Rasengan, for it to knock down the enemy at first, the user needs to hit it at a very specific point. If you fail, you’ll need to do it all over again, and as we know, Kakashi doesn’t have enormous Chakra reserves.
Thanks to the Sharingan, Chidori is more precise and usually solves problems in a single attempt. Therefore, it is more suitable for ninjas like Kakashi.
